​​14th COG/IAEA Technical Committee Meeting 

COG is pleased to announce the 14th COG/IAEA Technical Committee Meeting (TCM) on the Exhange of Operational Safety Experience of Pressurized Heavy Water Reactors (PHWR) will be hosted by Nucleoelectrica Argentina S.A. (NA-SA) in Cordoba, Argentina from November 21-24, 2017. Including a site tour of the CANDU Embalse NPP. 

Representatives of COG members, suppliers and others involved in the PHWR industry worldwide are invited to attend and participate in this biennial technical meeting. This is a rare and unique opportunity to meet with international colleagues and exchanging operating experience and technical information related to PHWRs.

Call for Presentations​

Participation is solicited from experts representing utilities, research centres, regulatory bdies and other governmental and non-governmental organizations engaged in the design, operation or licensing of pressurized heavy water reactors. All participants are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract for a presentation on a subject related to the purpose of the meeting. 

Each presentation will be a maximum of 20 minutes. To have a presentation considered, participants must submit an abstract (maximum 400 words) and Participation Form by Friday, September 11, 2017.
