COG Programs

The activities of COG cover four Program Areas:

Information Exchange

The Information Exchange Program is a base service funded by all COG Members. The goal of the Information Exchange Program is to facilitate sharing of information and operating experience between Members to enhance excellence in the safety, reliability and economic performance of CANDU Stations.

Joint Projects & Services

The Projects & Services Program is an optional participant funded program. The goal of the Joint Projects & Services Program is to assist members to achieve excellence in the safe, reliable and economic performance of their CANDU stations by initiating and managing jointly funded project and services.

Regulatory Affairs

The Regulatory Affairs Program is an optional participant funded program. The goal of the Regulatory Affairs Program is to assist Members to adopt, where possible, common strategies and plans for the resolution of issues related to nuclear safety and the environment.

Research & Development

The Research & Development Program is an optional participant funded program. The goal of the Research & Development Program is to assist Members to achieve excellent in the safety, reliability and economic performance of their CANDU station by initiating and managing jointly funded research and development and updating of standard use computer codes.
